WWE Smackdown Results: The Henry, the Cara and the Ugly
WWE Smackdown was its usual self. Some segments were great, while others were just "there." If I had to give this show a grade, I'd give it a B-. It was fine, but there just wasn't too much excitement over the episode at all...
The Good
Mark Henry and The Big Show are doing a great job. Henry is still the World Champion, and Show still wants revenge. Simple angles like that go a long way. I really am loving the reaction Henry is getting nowadays.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Months ago, he was a "fat, out-of-shape loser." Yet, now some fans just can't wait to sing his praises on Smackdown every week. Sorry, the bandwagon is no longer accepting members. You had your chance many, many, many months ago. I gave everyone fair warning...
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton look to be continuing their feud. I am fine with that. Dolph Ziggler looked strong in defeat against Orton. Also, Punk and Christian had a wonderful night. These two know what they are doing, and the road to Survivor Series is looking great!
If Survivor Series is anything like Vengeance, it is going to be a great show! Speaking of Vengeance, did I mention that I predicted every match correctly? Of course, I discredited the Henry/Show match!
Bonus points to Hornswoggle and Aksana for a great backstage segment! Those two are hilarious folks...Woo! Woo! Woo! You know it!
The Bad
I do not care about Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara anymore. They rushed through the feud. The "blow-off" match was last week, so I have no interest in it anymore. I do not know what Sinister Cara is going to do now. I do not know what Sin Cara is going to do now. Right now, it is back to the drawing board for them...
I also had no interest in seeing two squash matches. I am fine with one per show, but two? No thank you! Wade Barrett won his match, while Daniel Bryan won his. Yes, they went a good while, but they were squash matches. Neither outcome was ever in doubt...
Quick note: Sheamus was missed. He made a small appearance, but this man needed more. Just a small worry, but I hope to see him more next week.
The Ugly
Air Boom lost. I am not a fan of this. I know Awesome Truth needed the win a lot more, but Air Boom has not even been on Raw to get anything back. I won't bash this too much, but if Air Boom continues to lose, I will keep bringing it up.
I would also like to point out that Christian ate a pin-fall once again. I did write about this happening months ago. Yes, he may have been in the final segment tonight, but his days of being in the legit "main event scene" are over.
My other complaint is their promotion of the Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels DVD on sale now. That deserved a little bit more. One backstage segment was not going to cut it. Call in Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels for an appearance. That tale deserved more of a mention tonight...
In conclusion, it was a fine show. Mark Henry continued being the best man on WWE TV. Thankfully, John Morrison was nowhere near my TV screen, and Awesome Truth looked like the real deal.
On a closing note, I am finally going to give Twitter a try! Feel free to look for my (first ever) account by Saturday afternoon. I have some trick-or-treating to get done tomorrow, but I hope all my fans/friends "follow" me before I get my costume on and head out! Thanks.
