NFL Week 8 Predictions: Who Will Have the Top QB, RB and WR Performances?
The 2011 NFL season has proven to be very tough to predict.
We've seen ridiculous second half comebacks, underdogs beating teams we never expected and teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions returning to relevance.
Player performances have been a little easier to pick, and in Week 8, these players will deliver the biggest statistical games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterback
So, Mr. Brees tossed five touchdowns with no interceptions against a winless Colts team on Sunday Night Football last week.
What does this mean he'll do against the winless Rams this week?
Video game stuff.
Like a video game set on "rookie."
Brees will get his team out to a huge lead and dice through another secondary this week.
Could he throw for five more touchdowns?
Unlikely, against the league's worst run defense, but four isn't out of the question.
Running Back
Peterson is running mad as usual, probably because his Vikings are 1-6. He squares off against a Panthers defense that's allowing per game on the ground.
With Christian Ponder still learning the ropes, expect Minnesota's coaching staff to lean on Peterson to keep the Vikings in the game against a surprisingly high-powered Carolina squad.
If they give him more than 20 carries, it will be another monster game for AP.
Wide Receiver
Calvin Johnson
There's no way the Broncos can contain Megatron, who has still been a major factor the last two weeks, despite both games being Lions' losses.
Champ Bailey is still a solid cover corner, but he's no match for Johnson, who needs to be located in the red zone if Detroit wants to return to their winning ways.
This game is being hyped as another, stiffer test for Tim Tebow, making Johnson somewhat of an afterthought.
After this game, we'll remember who the best player on the field was in Denver.
