WWE: Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and Stars WWE Needs Back for WrestleMania

Donald WoodOct 26, 2011

WrestleMania 28 already has an amazing main event between The Rock and John Cena, but WWE is all about making this show the best of the year.

When the WWE blows things out, they love to give the fans the nostalgia pop by pulling old superstars out of the woodwork and marching them to the ring.

Just like every WrestleMania in the past, this show in April of 2012 will begin the buildup process at Survivor Series and carry on for the next five or six months.

Expect to see at least one or two of these stars at this year’s event, and if there is a soul in Vinny Mac’s body, the fans will see all three!

Stone Cold Steve Austin—Any time there is a mention that the Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin could be coming back to the WWE for another match, older fans of the WWE go crazy.

Austin is one of the most beloved stars in the history of the business and many people would pay any price to see him one last time in the ring.

There has been talk that Austin could take on CM Punk at some point, and if that actually comes to fruition at this year’s WrestleMania, it would be the greatest show of all-time.

Chris Jericho—As an old school ECW fan and a WCW fan, I remember the Chris Jericho that was a total animal on the mic and in the ring.

There is no doubt that Jericho was great in WWE, but now that the company is begging him to come back, he will be the one pulling the strings.

With an unleashed Jericho coming back with a new attitude, we could see the rebirth of a man that verbally and physically destroyed everyone in his path.

Undertaker—There is no more certain name on this list than that of the Undertaker because he will not miss a chance to keep his undefeated streak at WrestleMania alive.

There are plenty of people on the SmackDown brand that Undertaker could feud with—but no matter who it is, this show will feature the dead man.

I personally think the WWE will bring another old star like Mick Foley back for this match, or they could possibly have Triple H fight him in a rematch of WrestleMania 27.
