NFL Week 8 Picks: Who Are the Stone Cold Locks of the Week?
If the past two weeks have proven anything it is that there are virtually no sure things in the NFL this season. Despite that disclaimer, there are two teams this week who are absolute locks to come away with wins.
The New Orleans Saints blasted the winless Indianapolis Colts 62-7 on Sunday night in a record-breaking performance. This week, the Saints get served up another squad that has yet to earn a victory, when they travel to St. Louis to take on the 0-6 Rams.
The Saints have proven themselves to be one of the best teams in the NFL, and much like the game against the Colts, this one should get ugly early.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
New Orleans currently boasts the NFL's second-ranked offense, averaging a ridiculous 467.1 yards per game. They are also scoring a league-high 34.1 points per game.
Meanwhile, the Rams rank 29th in total defense, as they are surrendering 410.3 yards per game, while also giving up 28.5 points per game (which ranks 31st in the league).
All of that adds up to what should be an easy walkover win for the Saints and quarterback Drew Brees. No matter what the Rams do on offense, there is no way they will be able to keep pace with New Orleans.
The New York Giants are currently 4-2 and haven't looked as good as they should have through their first six games. But on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium, the G-Men have a chance to finally put it all together as the 0-6 Miami Dolphins come to town following a devastating loss in Week 7.
The Dolphins held a 15-0 lead over the Denver Broncos with less than three minutes to go on Sunday before allowing Tim Tebow to lead his team to an 18-15 overtime win. It was an embarrassing loss for everyone associated with the franchise.
You can expect the Dolphins to still be feeling the effects of that letdown against the Giants. While New York isn't a particularly special team, the Dolphins have shown themselves to be what is probably the worst squad in the NFL.
Even if the Giants don't play their best football, they are still a lock to top Miami this weekend in front of a home crowd.
