Why Game 5 Will Decide Series
Neither team has been able to capture two in a row, yet. That means that the Rangers were able to beat the Cardinals in Game 2 started by Jaime Garcia and the Cardinals came up big in Game 3 started by Matt Harrison.
For the Rangers it is simple. They don't want to be in a must win position with Harrison on the mound. Holland is not on top of his game, and the Cardinals easily got to him in Game 3.
Harrison lasted just 3.2 innings and gave up three earned runs.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals don't want to be forced to win two, even though they are at home. Garcia was solid in Game 2 going seven innings and not allowing a run, but Colby Lewis proved he could match him, and the Rangers have an overall edge in lineup and bullpen.
