WWE Vengeance 2011 Results: John Cena Proves Greatness Despite Loss
John Cena is the greatest WWE star of the last five years, and despite a dirty victory by Alberto Del Rio at Vengeance, John Cena proved once again why he is the best in the business.
The Last Man Standing stipulation is perfect for John Cena, because he is the wrestling equivalent of Super Man. It took a dirty move by R-Truth and Miz to beat the WWE universe’s favorite star.
Not only did Cena dominate Del Rio during the match at Vengeance, when ADR did gain the upper hand, keeping the 10-time WWE champion down wasn’t something the defending champ could do alone.

Every move that would’ve sent another wrestler to the hospital couldn’t even keep the star down for 10 seconds. Time after time, Cena did amazing things that made this match the best of the night.
Watching Super Cena give ADR the Attitude Adjustment off the stairs and through the announcers' table was amazing and proved Cena is still the biggest draw for the company.
The only reason Del Rio won the match was because Cena will be moving on to a feud with The Rock.
Cena won't need the belt to make that battle relevant with fans.
The WWE knows what Cena can do and that’s why they are promoting him and allowing him to be the one that fights The Rock.
While the nostalgia aspect is nice, John Cena should, and will, whip The Rock in their upcoming meetings because he is the better worker in the ring.
Everyone loves The Rock so much, but how soon we forget all his flaws while he was a regular on the show. The Rock is quite possibly the most overrated superstar in WWE history, and John Cena will show him what it means to be a real champion.
Not only is John Cena a better worker than The Rock, he is better on the microphone now than The Rock ever was.
CM Punk said during his shoot promo in late June, “the only thing The Rock is better than John Cena at is kissing Vince McMahon’s ass.”
Let’s just hope John Cena can carry what’s left of The Rock’s in-ring abilities through a match, which we all know he can.
