Former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson Going to TNA?
TNA has been low in the ratings for a little while now. Sure, they come up every once in a while and with the new Main Event Mafia vs. the TNA Front Line, it should have increased.
But, it has stayed the same pretty much throughout. So, TNA's founder Jeff Jarrett is willing to do anything, even bring in a former WWE Diva. He is trying to bring in one of my favorites and I know one of yours, Torrie Wilson.
Jeff Jarrett has reportedly been in talks with the two-time Playboy model for some time now. Wilson left WWE last Spring, and has since been focusing her time on a new clothing store, which she has opened in Texas.

The clothing store is apparently doing very well right now, however, concerning a debut with TNA, Wilson has said "never say never." Former TNA Knockout Gail Kim, who is close friends with Torrie, was also pushing for her to join the company when she left WWE.
Now TNA has always brought in women who can wrestle quite well, and Torrie is, well, not that good of a wrestler. With the other female competitors, she would be exposed easily to me.
Not that she has not gotten better in her time with the WWE, but she is not on the level TNA's Knockouts are. The one thing she does bring is popularity. Torrie has been in Playboy and the WWE, which is good for TNA because it needs ratings. Some of the highest segments on the show are when the beautiful people are on, which apparently Jarrett thinks by bringing in another woman will help get ratings up.
I am not sure why he would want to bring her in other than popularity though. This truly is desperation time for TNA. I watch TNA every week and they have gotten better, but not on WWE's level.
I believe TNA will do more like what the WWE did in the past. They will bring in eye candy women who are models, but are mediocre at best in the wrestling world. I personally think it is a mistake.
If TNA has one thing over the WWE, it is that they have the best female competitors in the wrestling industry. The WWE is now getting better divas to counteract that, but TNA is still the best.
Jarrett will need to make sure that Wilson is a batter wrestler than she was in the WWE if he doesn't want to get his Knockout division looking bad.
What do you think, should Jeff Jarrett bring in Torrie Wilson?
