WWE Vengeance 2011 Results: How Many Titles Did Dolph Ziggler Leave With?
Tonight marked the first time in years that not only has someone had multiple matches in the same night, but having both matches be for different titles.
Dolph Ziggler competed in both the tag team and US title matches at Vengeance. In the tag team match, he and Swagger were the challengers while Ziggler was the reigning champion in the US title match.
The first match of the night was Ziggler and Swagger facing off against Air Boom. The match was exciting as Ziggler and Swagger brought their mat wrestling technique up against Kofi and Evan's high-flying style.

Each team had great offense and at times it appeared as if it could go in either team's favor. Ziggler and Swagger dominated most of the match, but Kofi and Evan held their own against the two collegiate athletes.
In the end, it was a Trouble in Paradise and an Air Bourne that put Ziggler away. Ziggler looked distraught, but not as much as he was when he heard his next opponents music hit.
WOO WOO WOO You Know It echoed throughout the arena as the next match was set to begin right away.
The challenger made his way down to a nice ovation from the crowd. The fans were heavily behind Zack Ryder and several times during the match, Ryder chants broke out.
I have to say that given this is the first time I have seen Ryder fight in a match longer than five minutes, he really impressed me.
I am not saying Ryder is the next Ric Flair or anything, but the kid has potential and given more time to improve, he could very well be on his way to having an amazing career.
The same can be said for Ziggler, as he showed that not only could he fight two matches, and take two finishers at the end of the first match, but he can win the second match cleanly.
Ryder seemed primed to win the title tonight, but Ziggler showed the world he was not ready to be without a belt around his waist.
Ziggler is certainly showing what he is capable of lately, and I get the feeling he is on his way to the main event scene within a couple years at most.
At the end of the night, Ziggler left in the same situation in which he arrived, as US Champion.
