WWE Vengeance 2011: Miz and R-Truth Will Steal a Win with Help from Kevin Nash

Adam WellsOct 23, 2011

Once you get past the fact that Triple H and CM Punk should not be a tag team, you can easily see the direction that their match against The Miz and R-Truth at Vengeance should go: Kevin Nash, who was unceremoniously fired last month, will screw Triple H and Punk.

Now, I will admit, I am reluctant to make that prediction because it requires WWE's creative team to remember a storyline that took place more than five days ago.

For reasons unknown, I have faith that at some point, we are going to get some kind of resolution to the Triple H/Punk/Nash feud. Tonight's show is the perfect opportunity for WWE to bring that back to the forefront of our minds.

Miz and Truth, if you'll recall, were fired by Triple H on Raw following Night of Champions. So the story is right there waiting to be told, with Nash being recruited by those two and coming back to get revenge on his former best friend.

Plus, you have the added dynamic of John Laurinaitis as the interim Raw general manager now, and he was the one who offered Nash a contract after Nash made his comeback at SummerSlam.

There are a lot of different angles that WWE can play with regarding Nash's return, but it doesn't matter which one they use at this point. As long as he is back on television and feuding with Triple H, that is the most important thing at this juncture.

This angle will bring up an interesting conundrum for what they do at Survivor Series, but that is for the creative team to think about after the show.

Nash will most likely be allied with with Miz, Truth and Laurinaitis as they look to restore order and balance to the WWE and take more power away from Punk and Triple H.
