2011 World Series: 4 Rally Squirrel Comments on Pujols

You just witnessed history.  Albert Pujols hit three home runs in Game 3 of the 2011 World Series.  It's a feat only accomplished by Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson in past Fall Classic play. 

Oh yeah, The Machine had five hits.  Bleacher Report caught up with Rally Squirrel to put this historic event into perspective.

"Anyway, El Hombre came into tonight with some hard shots but no hits to show for it.  We talked before the game and he asked me my secret for staying popular.  I told him big players make big plays in big games.  I then told him he was a big player.  I don't want to take 100 percent credit for his night, but I think our talk pretty much opened the floodgates."

"Torty and I have been keeping a fairly low profile.  I've mostly been hiding in AP's bat rack.  The guys also let me chew on the broken bats.  A lot of the reporters have been trying to bother me, but the focus should really be on the guys.  I tell you, I could hear President Bush yelling "Noooo!" when the Gentleman Masher hit his second blast tonight."
