WWE Vengeance 2011: Dolph Ziggler in 2 Different Title Matches This Sunday
Tomorrow night could be Dolph Ziggler's chance to join a very exclusive club. That club is people who have held two different titles at the same time. Guys like the Ultimate Warrior, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Triple H, The Miz and MVP are in this club. Ziggler could be the next member if he and Swagger are able to defeat Air Boom tomorrow night.
Since getting together, Kofi and Evan have proven they are not just another tag team of two random singles competitors thrown together. They have similar high-flying styles and high-energy personalities that make them a good fit. WWE gave them new entrance music and even let the fans vote on their team name, so I get the impression they will be together for a little bit, even if they lose the titles tomorrow.

Ziggler and Swagger seem like they are a little less cohesive. They first started out as enemies of sorts when Swagger was approaching Vickie for her managerial services. Dolph took exception, and the two cost each other matches in the following weeks. Now they seem more on the same page, but still not quite a well-oiled machine. They are both very accomplished amateur wrestlers, and that, combined with the added distraction Vickie will provide to Air Boom, could be enough for Swagger and Ziggler to become tag team champions.
Of course, this will only allow Ziggler to be a dual champion if he is able to fend off Zack Ryder for the U.S. title.
Swagger has been in somewhat of a downward spiral ever since he lost the world title. Since then, he has been in a number of feuds which he never really seems to come out ahead in, and his participation in WrestleMania this year as Cole's trainer was probably less than ideal. He is big, talented and can go for years if he stays healthy. There are many upsides to Jack Swagger, but WWE seems to have lost some faith. This Sunday could be a way for him to get back some glory as well as gold.
Together, he and Ziggler make up the team with the most potential in my estimation—both as singles and tag-team superstars. I have never been Swagger's biggest fan, but that's not to say I couldn't be swayed in that direction by one more good match. Ziggler, on the other hand, has been on my shortlist of future main eventers since he and Edge stole the show at the Royal Rumble.
I like Kofi and Evan, and I hope they stay together past losing the titles, whenever that may happen. But this Sunday, I have to think that Swagger and Ziggler will walk out with the Tag Team Championships.
Who do you think will take home the belts tomorrow night?
