The New York Yankees Have To Sign Three Free Agent Pitchers!
The New York Yankees absolutely must sign three free agent pitchers.
The Yanks must first of all sign C.C. Sabathia, the best free agent pitcher of the bunch.
The Yankees also absolutely must sign A. J. Burnett and Derek Lowe who are considered by everyone who knows anything as the next best available pitchers after C.C.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The Yankees also have to be in the mix for Ben Sheets and should certainly trade Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrera, Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy and Humberto Sanchez for Jake Peavy of the Padres.
It has been more than a year since New York last was in the playoffs and this is just absolutely so unacceptable that they have to sign all these pitchers.
It has been eight years since New York won a World Series and they really probably need to have twenty starting pitchers in addition to Chin Ming Wang, Joba Chamberlain, Andy Pettite, Phil Hughes, (oh, I forget, they are going to trade him for Jake Peavy) and whoever else they have to get to have twenty starting pitchers.
On the days these twenty starting pitchers aren't pitching some of them will play first base where the Yanks really don't have anybody yet.
And some of them will play the outfield, preferably in left and center since the only other alternatives are Johnny Damon and two guys who are unproven, Brett Gardner and Melky Cabrera (oh, yeah, I forgot, they are going to trade Cabrera to get Peavy).
Let's see, as a die hard Yankee fan, I have a hard time remembering who won the American League East last year. Who was it? What? Tampa Bay?
And who won the ALCS and went to the World Series? I forgot that too. Who? What? Tampa Bay? Are you sure?
Who pitched for Tampa Bay last year when they won the American League? What were their records?
What? Who did you say?
James Shields? 14-8 Record.
Andy Sonnenstine? 13-9 Record.
Edwin Johnson? 14-11 Record.
Matt Garza? 11-9 Record.
Scott Kazmir? 12-8 Record.
Are you sure? They surely could not have gone to the World Series with five starting pitchers none of whom won over fourteen games and none of whom was even discussed in Cy Young balloting?
Are you sure? But the Yankees just have to get Sabathia and Burnett and Lowe and Sheets and Peavy or they don't have any chance and they are going to burn the New Yankee Stadium down right after they tear down the old one and then there won't be any place for them to play any more.
Could that be right?
