Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Finlay w/ Hornswoggle vs. Mark Henry w/ Tony Atlas
The show started off slow as the fans didn't really get behind this bout. The two started off with a vicious staring contest that put the entire front row to sleep instantly. But the crowd did seem to pick up a bit when Tony Atlas was being chased by Hornswoggle and Finlay. Match ended when Finlay nailed Henry with the shillelagh for the 1-2-3.
Michelle McCool (c) vs. Maryse
This, by far, was the worst match of the night. The fans were completely dead, and the only pop they received was when it was finally over.
Matt Hardy (c) vs. Jack Swagger
Great match-up, one of the best of the night. The Carolina crowd was definitely behind Matt as he had them in the palm of his hand the entire match. Swagger looked impressive, using his technical skill as he showed us what made him a wrestling legend at OU. This kid will be one to watch. Matt was solid as usual as he picked up the win with a twist of fate.
Kung Fu Naki vs. Unknown
Can't remember who Fu Naki faced here, but should be important as he did the job to him. I think it might be Jack Gabriel from FCW, but not sure. Sorry, dropped the ball on this one.
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Great Khali
Possibly a spoiler in the making, Great Khali destroyed the "hometown boy." Khali picked up the win with his chokeslam bomb... could Benjamin's days as U.S. champ be numbered?
THE Brian Kendrick and Ezekial Jackson vs. Carlito and Primo (World Tag Titles)
Very entertaining bout. Brian Kendrick reminds me of a young Flyin' Brian and Jackson is a beast. Carlito and Primo started the bout by arguing who would start the match-up, with Carlito eventually getting the nod. To his surprise, Kendrick tagged in Jackson (who is fierce in the ring, but doesn't even get the reaction from the fans that Marc Henry receives). Good back and forth action, with the Carlons stealing the win.
Triple H vs Vladimir Koslov (Street Fight)
Big pop for Trips as he laid the smackdown on Koslov. He destroyed the big Russian with the help of a trash can, chair and, of course, a sledge hammer. Not near as boring as their last PPV match up.
Edge (c) vs. Undertaker
These two have worked well together over the past year, and last night was no different. They thrilled the crowd with every clothesline and big boot. It was a classic match up that saw 'Taker pick up the win after a low blow that resulted in a DQ finish. The Dead Man got the last laugh though as he laid out the champ and draped his belt across his chest, sending the fans home happy.
OK show despite the slow start. During one break they gave one fan four ringside seats for that night's show for being able to answer the question, "Who's the current world champ?"
