This Could Be College Basketball's Best Maui Invitational Field Ever
The EA Sports Maui Invitational field this year could be the strongest it's ever had. Five of the eight teams that enter the tournament are ranked in the preseason Top 25 with all of them in the Top 20.
Duke (sixth), Memphis (ninth), Kansas (13th), Michigan (18th) and UCLA (20th) all come in with hopes of becoming the Maui Invitational champions.
Don't think the other three teams are slouches though.

The reason why it's so special to play and compete in Maui is Maui participants have won 62 of the 73 NCAA championships. They've also contributed 58 of the 73 runner-up spots and 239 of the 292 Final Four teams.
In order to play in the EA Sports Maui Invitational, your program must be on an upward swing.
