Top 5 WWE Superstars Who Need New Theme Music
We all know CM Punk recently changed his theme music. I think it was for the best, as his old theme next had that "pep" that others had. Triple H is a good example. He could have his current theme forever, and I would not mind. It fits him perfectly.
Like Punk's new music, I am going to be selecting a few songs that are from the mainstream. Nobody from WWE wrote any of these songs, and they are all outside of the company. With that being said, let's dive into the first song.....
Awesome Truth
1 of 5Ah yes...Twisted Sister singing "We're not gonna take it!" was always a favorite of mine.
The best thing is it fits Miz and Truth's current reign of terror. They think there is a conspiracy against them, thus they won't stand for it much longer. It is that simple.
While they are both solo men, as a team they are proving to be a great pairing as well.
This theme song would put them over the top!
Johnny Ace
2 of 5This man needs music of his own.
You can hate him, you can love him—no matter how you feel, the man needs his own theme music.
My choice? John Mellencamp's "Authority Song"—classic song!
The lyrics may be a little off, but it fits. Mr. Ace is in charge of WWE Raw, thus whatever he says goes.
Plus, who doesn't love a little Mellencamp on WWE TV?
Brodus Clay
3 of 5Yes, Undertaker used this song earlier this year. Yes, Clay already has some generic music.
However, this song would be absolutely epic for Brodus Clay to use. Imagine the song hitting for about 30 seconds, and then Clay comes walking out like the baddest man alive.
It would instantly make people take notice.
He would get in the ring, squash a jobber, and the song would play as he slowly walks to the back...
Cena/Rock at WrestleMania 28
4 of 5I fully admit to cheating just a little bit here, but the song is too good to pass up.
WrestleMania will be in Miami next year, and you know WWE likes to pick "pop-like" songs for the annual event.
What better fit than Will Smith's hit from many years ago?
Imagine the commercials airing this tune for months on end, with Rock and Cena staring each other down? Would that not jack you up even more to see the match?
I know I would love to hear this song at every show leading up to WrestleMania 28.
Again, it may not be for a specific star, but it almost has to be used by WWE next spring...
John Morrison
5 of 5Look, the writing is on the wall. You might as well have those walls come crumblin' down, right?
It was between this song and Beck's "Loser" from many years. I decided to go with this one because it has been a slow downfall for Morrison on WWE TV as of late.
It was not always completely boring to watch him, but it certainly has been the past year or so. Like the song says, "time respects no person."
Guess what? It is true. Time does not stop for anybody, not even Morrison...
