Sam Bradford Injury: Rams Should Let Star QB Play vs. Cowboys
Sam Bradford's left ankle sprain could not have come at a worse time for the St. Louis Rams.
The team is 0-5 and heading into Dallas to play an angry Cowboys team. His status for the game is unknown right now, but it does sound like the team is leaning toward letting him play.
Head coach Steve Spagnuolo was not playing his hand at a press conference on Wednesday.

Despite what Spagnuolo is saying, ESPN is reporting that Bradford is expected to start.
""Bradford did not practice Wednesday while getting treatment for the injury, increasing the likelihood journeyman A.J. Feeley will get the call Sunday at Dallas. Bradford's injury routinely sidelines players for a month, but coach Steve Spagnuolo had some hope he could play because although mobility would be compromised, the plant leg is not affected."

Considering where this team is at right now, where they thought they would be and the fact that they added Brandon Lloyd to the wide receiver mix earlier this week, you know the team is hoping that Bradford will be cleared to play.
Even if Bradford is not completely healthy, which it is virtually impossible to believe he will be, he is a better option for the Rams in this game than career-backup Feeley.
For the first time in his still-young career, Bradford has a legitimate receiver to throw the ball to. Plus, the fact that he gets to play against a weak Dallas secondary only makes this game more appealing to him.
The Rams are not going to the playoffs this season, but they still have a chance to salvage the season. Bradford needs to play in order for them to do that, and the team would be wise to let him start in this game.
The team needs Bradford to play this week to have a chance, and he needs a game against a bad defensive team to get his confidence back, because he has looked lost for most of the season.
