NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Which Teams Are Tops in the League?
Entering Week 7 of the 2011 NFL season, three teams have separated themselves as the elite squads in the NFL.
The Green Bay Packers have risen above the rest to prove they are the league's best team. The Packers are the only remaining undefeated squad in the league. Watching them play, that is not surprising.
The 6-0 Packers are led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is having a phenomenal season thus far. Rodgers has completed 146 of 208 passes (70.2 percent) for 2,031 yards, with 17 touchdowns and three interceptions. His quarterback rating of 122.5 is the best in the NFL by nearly 18 whole points (Tom Brady is second at 104.8).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rodgers leads an offense that has destroyed opposing defenses. Green Bay is currently fourth in the NFL in total offense (423.7 yards per game) and is scoring a league-high 32.8 points per game. Until a defense proves it can stop the Packers, they will continue to roll and will remain the clear Super Bowl favorites.
The New England Patriots stumbled against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Other than that, they have looked like the league's next best team all season. Led by Brady, the Patriots have the league's top offense, averaging 474.5 yards per game. New England is also third in the NFL in scoring, averaging 30.8 points per contest.
While they do have work to do on the defensive side of the ball, much like the Packers, few teams have any shot at stopping New England from scoring points at will. Until their offense looks to be hampered even the slightest bit by an opponent, the Patriots will remain the favorites in the AFC.
The Baltimore Ravens sit at 4-1 ahead of Week 7 and have relied on their vaunted defense to lead them to victories. The Ravens are third in the league in total defense (286.2 yards per game), and are tops in scoring defense, surrendering just 14.2 points per game. Those are both phenomenal numbers and it's no wonder the Ravens have started to look like a serious contender.
However, there is work to do on the offensive side of the ball for Baltimore. The team needs more consistency. The Ravens rank 14th in the NFL in total offense (367.2 yards per game) and quarterback Joe Flacco's 51.4 percent completion percentage has to get better if the team wants to continue to win games the rest of the way.
Still, Baltimore is one of the more solid teams in the league and sit in the No. 3 spot in my power rankings for Week 7.
