WWE Vengeance 2011: Will Kevin Nash Run in on Triple H-CM Punk Match?

Donald WoodOct 19, 2011

The return of Kevin Nash to the WWE was one of the wilder events of the year, but he may be making another surprise visit to the WWE universe at Vengeance this year.

Nash will be there to screw someone over, though.

It’s clear that the feud between CM Punk and Kevin Nash isn’t over: The fact that the former nWo is starting to drop hints means this match is closer than anyone anticipated.

While their match won’t be at Vengeance, that could be the perfect location for Nash to make his return. He could run in on the CM Punk-Triple H match and screw over Punk and/or Triple H.

Kevin Nash told The Chad Dukes Wrestling Show about his purpose in the WWE, as well as a potential match with CM Punk:

"

"Well the thing was I understood what my job was. Going in, my job wasn’t to bury a baby face and come across more witty than he was or anything else. That wasn’t what I was brought in to do. The old Kevin Nash, would at anyone’s cost, would have gotten over.

As you get older, and your best friend is very much in charge of the day to day process, and he looks at you and asks you to do something that’s just kind of like ‘Wow, they’ve really got me hog-tied on this one.'

CM Punk has on the back of his t-shirt 'Best in the World.' Ya know? And I said to myself, I said to a bunch of other people ya know, his shirt says best in the world. He’s going to have to prove it if he is going to drag my 52-year-old carcass through 14 minutes of a match."

"

I believe a lot of what Nash was saying was him covering up his lack of charisma in the ring during his time in the WWE.

But I genuinely believe that the WWE wants the matchup of Nash and Punk.

Most wrestling fans are already over Nash in the WWE, but the fact that Triple H still has pull behind the scenes will leave the door open for the inevitable return of Big Sexy.

While Nash may not believe that Punk is the best in the world, there is no doubt that as long as Nash sells the moves, Punk can make this match something worth watching.

I would like to see more verbal confrontation on the mics, but as long as Nash is allowed to say what he wants and doesn’t sound like the goon he had been before.
