NFL Power Rankings: Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Top Teams with Most to Prove
As you can see by looking below, 15 NFL teams have a record of over than .500.
With the possible exception of the Packers, they all have some significant flaws that make them beatable. Even the Packers have struggled against top offenses, although their record wouldn't indicate it.
But if you look at those teams with winning records, these have the greatest holes to fix if they are to stay above .500, if not better. Their strengths won't overcome their weaknesses for the rest of the year.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value ๐
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Beating the Saints was impressive. Even though the Saints pass a lot, which increases the possibility of interceptions, anyone who picks off Drew Brees three times is a good team.
The Bucs' two losses came to the 49ers and Lions. Those two teams have a combined two losses, and one of these came in a game against each other.
Still, QB Josh Freeman isn't quite the quarterback that he was last year. The offensive playmakers are just not getting the job done.
If they improve, even a little bit, Tampa should cruise to at least a wild-card spot.
If they can't, a hard charging group of teams in the NFC will overcome the Buccaneers and keep them out of postseason play.
New Orleans Saints
While we're in the NFC South, let's take a look at the Saints.
I am not too worried about where their defense stands. Yes, they allow a lot of points, but their aggressive style of play generally comes through in the clutch.ย
New Orleans turns the ball over too much, even with Brees as the quarterback. They also don't run the ball very well. Now, they do play all but one game in a dome this year, but the lack of a run game can really keep this team from getting where it needs to be.
No team, not even one with Brees, can overcome these weaknesses for an entire season and the playoffs.
Buffalo Bills
We don't quite know what the Jets have to offer, but we know the Patriots will be there at the end.
The Pats have been one of the most consistent teams in the NFL for over a decade. Despite their flaws, the team is still a lock for a double-digit win season, if not significantly more.
Buffalo has a great and aggressive defense, but they allow too many yards and points. Ryan Fitzpatrick is good, but he has not proven that he can overcome that for a full season, or beyond.
While we're on the subject of Fitzpatrick, his interception total needs to get cut down. He seems to throw them in bunches. In crunch time, that will hurt them.
