NFL Power Rankings: Houston Texans and Teams Falling Fast
A good start is always nice, but as the NFL season progresses the pretenders are exposed.
Such has been the case for three teams in particular whose losses in Week 6 appear to be becoming a trend.
It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Remember that, folks.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three teams falling fast headed into Week 7 of the NFL season.
3. Buffalo Bills (4-2)
The Bills are still 4-2, so it's no time to panic now, but they've lost two of their last three games, and those losses have come against the Cincinnati Bengals and a New York Giants team that lost to the Seattle Seahawks the week before.
This team's offense is for real, but its defense clearly has issues, allowing 292 passing yards against the Giants in Week 6 and allowing Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw to run for 104 yards and three touchdowns.
It's a good thing the Bills have a bye in Week 7 because they need to address their defense if they are going to hang around in the playoff hunt. The fact remains, this team needs to score a lot of points to win ball games.
2. Dallas Cowboys (2-3)
The Cowboys defense has been worlds better since Rob Ryan was enlisted as defensive coordinator in the offseason, but this team continues to shoot itself in the foot/suffer late-game collapses.
A week after quarterback Tony Romo threw three interceptions in the second half against the Detroit Lions, the Cowboys gave up the winning touchdown pass to Tom Brady and Co. with 22 seconds left in Week 7.
The Cowboys were also 4-of-12 in third-down conversions as they lost, 20-16. That's two weeks, two straight losses.
Will the nightmare ever end for Romo?
1. Houston Texans (3-2)
Sure, the Texans have a better record than the Cowboys, but the Cowboys lost by a small margin to two strong teams in the Lions and Patriots.
The Texans, on the other hand, lost to the Oakland Raiders and got blown out by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.
For a team that signed top cornerback Johnathan Joseph in the offseason, it isn't supposed to be giving up 132 receiving yards to Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin.
Perhaps the most troubling thing for the Texans is two-time Pro Bowler Mario Williams is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Ironically, it came when Williams sacked Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell.
