WWE Rumor: John Morrison Leaving WWE to Join TNA Soon?

Let me preface this by saying nothing is confirmed, and this is just a rumor.

Believe what you want, and take any information with a grain of salt.

According to TNAsylum, John Morrison's contract with WWE is expiring very soon and there is a belief that he will end up with TNA when his no compete clause ends. That is directly from their source on the piece. All credit goes to TNAsylum.

My thoughts on the story?

Well, I have been writing about John Morrison in depth since he returned from injury back in July. Of course, one day after he returned, he started losing and losing often.

I was not surprised. The other 99 percent of WWE fans were shocked. I am not sure why. I guess I will never "get it" with him.

Anyways, I have done tons of articles detailing the inevitable fall of John Morrison. Of course, I was insulted from every which way, but the fact remained clear to me.

He was losing and losing in short order. No other way around it folks...

It was almost as if the Jo-Mo fans on Twitter were dealing with a death. Of course, you can read more about that method of thinking here.

First, they were in denial. "No, Morrison wasn't losing. It must be his neck. Yeah, they are just selling his neck injury. He will be fine in a month. Surely, he will beat Truth at SummerSlam."

Next was anger. "How could Morrison be used like this? His flips are so amazing, and he just hits those spots like nobody ever has. WWE is an evil place, and I hate them all!!!"

My favorite is the bargaining stage. "Morrison is just paying some dues. He will be back in no time. It must be for a great storyline coming his way. It must!"

After that is the depression stage. "Why has this been done to my beloved Morrison? I am never watching WWE again. I don't even care. Everything about this situation is horrible..."

Finally, we come to acceptance. I have been at this stage for a few months now. Yes, it is a rumor, but in my opinion, he is leaving WWE. Anything short of a miracle, he is following Melina out the company door, and it is for the best.

My thoughts on him possibly heading to TNA? Big deal! I have been predicting this for months now; it's not even really news to me. The ratings will not move one inch. The buyrates will stay the same, and business will be the usual for TNA.

Of course, TNA will likely push him to the moon, like they do every new talent pick up. He will surely "shoot" on WWE and talk about how misused he was and how amazing he will now be in TNA! On cue, the non-paying cast members in Orlando will chant "TNA! TNA! TNA!" Just a guess...

I am also guessing Melina won't be too far behind, and it will be the same song and dance we have seen from the other 30 ex-WWE talents that have jumped to TNA, only this will be on a much smaller scale. Excuse me while I yawn at the thought of Morrison showing up in DixieLand...
