Michael Vick Injury: Star QB's Concussion Scare Spells Major Problems for Eagles
As weak as you may think Michael Vick is, he didn't temporarily leave Sunday's game against the Redskins because he had dirt in his eyes.
According to Rotoworld, the star quarterback was taken out to be tested for a concussion, which can't do much to ease the minds of Philadelphia Eagles fans.
"Eagles HC Andy Reid admitted at his Monday press conference that Michael Vick was checked for a concussion in Sunday's win over the Redskins. The explanation that Vick missed a series because he had "dirt in his eyes" never held water. Vick is going to need more consistent line play going forward to ensure his 2011 concussion count holds at one.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Obviously this was more of a precautionary move because Vick already suffered a concussion earlier in the season, but it's scary the nonetheless.
If nothing else, it raises the problem that Vick isn't safe. He's getting hit way too much and he's likely gone for the season should he suffer another concussion.
Rotoworld mentioned that Philly's offensive line is a problem for the quarterback and while that's true, there's more to the problem.
It starts with the offensive line, sure, as Vick is being pressured possibly more than anyone not named Jay Cutler right now.
But add on top of that the fact that Vick scrambles more than any other QB in the league. While he is obviously extremely good effective as a runner, it is leaving him open to tons of extra shots from defenders.
Vick just isn't safe right now. It's as simple as that.
If the Eagles want to protect him for the rest of the season, they may need to alter the playbook a little bit.
More underneath routes, screens, running back dump-offs and things like that. They certainly have the speedy weapons to make those kind of things work.
Get creative with it, especially now that they have a bye week to really look things over.
Whatever they do, they need to start figuring out how to reduce the hits on their star quarterback because with this latest scare it's becoming apparent that he could be lost for the season at any moment.
