Brandon Lloyd to St Louis Rams: How Does Trade Affect Sam Bradford in Fantasy?
According to Jason LaCanfora of NFL.com, Denver wide receiver Brandon Lloyd is being traded to the St. Louis Rams.
So with that now happening, how does this move affect Rams quarterback Sam Bradford in terms of fantasy football?
Well, it most certainly makes him a more appealing backup QB and it definitely helps the entire Rams offense.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker was expected to be a solid threat, but he's been hugely disappointing (now released)—much like the Rams have been because of their lack of talent, experience, depth, and number of injuries.
Steven Jackson and the running game has been dismal, but adding a stud receiver opens up the offense. Plus, this is some tasty candy for offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who coached Lloyd while serving as the head coach in Denver.
All this being said, obviously it remains to be seen as to how the Rams offense will perform with Lloyd, but for as bad as they've been, there's really only one direction to go—up.
Therefore, if you need a backup QB, get Sam Bradford while you can provided that he's available.
St. Louis may not be be any type of contender after their pathetic 0-5 start. However, they will be playing a dirty spoiler role now that they have some fresh players and increased confidence.
Now, Bradford isn't going to burn the scoreboard or toss for 350 yards every game, but he is now a viable backup in fantasy.
And if you play in a league that starts two QBs, he'll surely be a great No. 2 QB to start.
In turn, this will also allow RBs Steven Jackson and Cadillac Williams to perform well, as there will be less defenders in the box to slow the ground game.
That will then open up the passing game a bit more, and derive attention from their less-established WRs as well as setup screen-passes and the crossing routes.
Lloyd, even for his size, is very good at stretching the field and can also run the short and medium routes.
This is an area where the Rams where unable to have success, because their young and inexperienced WRs weren't threatening/good enough to provide Bradford with many areas/options to toss the rock.
Now with Brandon Lloyd, it changes almost everything and we will see him produce much better numbers for the remainder of the season.
Sam Bradford's fantasy value just increased, the question is whether or not you need him because if so, and you neglect to pick him up (obviously if available), it may cost you the postseason or worse.
