Critical in the Clutch: Tom Brady Shows Why He Is Still the Best QB in the Game
Tom Brady and the Patriots were down 16-13 with only a little more than two short minutes left on the clock. They had been having a rough day up to that point on offense as they had played sloppy football and turned the ball over 4 times while counting on their shaky defense to bail them out of precarious situations.
Despite coming up short time and time again on an off day, the Patriots didn't sweat it. Tom Brady transformed into his normal cool, confident, and clutch self as he surgically sliced through the heralded Cowboys defense on his way to an 80 yard game winning touchdown drive.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The most amazing part about it? He made it look easy. Anyone attentively watching the game knew that the unfortunate Cowboys didn't stand a chance against the NFL's premier quarterback. Tom Brady was looking to avenge his interceptions and his second consecutive mediocre performance against a Rob Ryan-coached defense. He simply wasn't going to be denied as he torched the Cowboys defense on his way to another stunning comeback victory.
This game provided a clear reminder to all Aaron Rodgers bandwagon fans that Tom Brady is the best in the game today and perhaps the best ever. Yes, Aaron Rodgers' stats are slightly better this year and he hasn't made some of the poor throws that have cost Tom Brady and the Patriots this season.
However, Aaron Rodgers has the best, fastest, and deepest receiving corps in the NFL at his disposal in addition to a fantastic defense and one of the easiest schedules in football while Tom Brady has a great slot receiver, an atrocious defense, and a brutal first half schedule.
With this in mind, its not hard to see why Aaron Rodgers has a lower interception total and has been a slightly more efficient passer than Tom Brady this season. In fact, it would be shocking if this weren't the case.
Football is about what you do in the clutch, and the facts are that there is no one better than Brady. Give me Brady's 3 Super Bowl rings, 4 Super Bowl winning drives (Tom Brady delivered one of the all time great clutch drives against the Giants with two minutes left, but a bizarre collapse by the Patriots defense gift wrapped the Giants Super Bowl win), 2 Super Bowl MVPs, 2 regular season MVPs, 32 game winning drives, and .780 career winning percentage over Aaron Rodger's inflated stats and one Super Bowl victory against a clearly inferior opponent.
Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the NFL today. Whether you look at it from a pure statistical standpoint or from a front row view at Gillette Stadium, it is abundantly clear that he has no equals in the NFL today, save the currently sidelined Peyton Manning. As for the interceptions, I wouldn't worry about them.
Since the beginning of the 2010 season, Tom Brady has thrown only 12 interceptions to 52 touchdowns. He has just been dealing with a brutal stretch of great defenses that is nearing its end. I would be shocked if he ends the year with much more than his current total of eight as the worst part of the schedule comes to a close and his offense tightens up its few flaws.
Be prepared for Tom Brady to torch defenses flawlessly the rest of the way home like he did the first two weeks of the season.
