NFL Trade Rumors: Keeping Carson Palmer Proves Bengals' Owner Is Incompetent
The Cincinnati Bengals prove more and more everyday how they are the most incompetent franchise in the NFL.
It looks like Carson Palmer won't be traded anytime soon, and we might have seen him throw his last pass in the NFL already.
According to John Clayton of ESPN, the Bengals won't be moving Palmer before the trade deadline despite any rumors to the contrary.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Under no circumstances? That would mean if the Seattle Seahawks came out and offered a first or second round pick, they wouldn't even consider it. That is utterly unbelievable, but proves how oblivious Mike Brown is to how the NFL works.
The Bengals get nothing out of Palmer being retired. They can make a point all season, but in the end what are they proving?
NFL players shouldn't be able to control which team they play for while they are under contract, but that is the nature of the NFL.
The Bengals have shot Palmer's trade value by dragging this ridiculous process out for the course of the season.
Palmer is sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying his life. Of course he wants to be on the football field though, and the Bengals are keeping him from that. He isn't the first player to demand a trade, and he is not "in the right" in this situation, but the Bengals are without a doubt "in the wrong."
If this team wanted to make a statement or prove a point, Palmer isn't the player they should make an example of when they have players like Adam "Pac-Man" Jones and Cedric Benson on the team.
They allow their players to get in trouble off the field, and continue to bring in players who have had off-field issues, but they won't trade a player who has been nothing but a class act since arriving in Cincinnati.
It's unbelievable that they won't trade Palmer, and it truly makes no sense to keep him on the roster. Any draft pick is better than letting a player waste away on the retirement list. Trading him to a team like the Seattle Seahawks would do no harm whatsoever to the Bengals.
Neither team will be meeting in the Super Bowl in the next few years, so they likely won't have to worry much.
The Bengals can continue this tirade, but in the end they are only hurting themselves.
