Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings: Adrian Peterson and Each Position's Top Scorer
There is really no way to say with any certainty what anyone will do in a given week. A few weeks ago, the Raiders hosted the Patriots and I was sure that Tom Brady would throw for about 400 yards and four touchdowns.
Brady did have a good day that day, but New England ran a lot more than they ever had before.
Still, it's always fun to take a look ahead and predict which stars are going to have big weeks. So, without further adieu, let's take a look.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers
The Rams have been inconsistent against quarterbacks this year. They have had some okay days, but also been torched.
What St. Louis hasn't had to do is go against Aaron Rodgers or a team with as many options as the Packers.
Rodgers has thrown for 300 yards in four of five games this year. The one exception was a 297-yard performance.
Running back: Adrian Peterson
Last week, I predicted that Peterson would be kept in check. It only took 122 yards and three touchdowns to make me look rather foolish.
I am not going to make that mistake again.
Peterson is the game's best running back. Another 100-yard, multiple touchdown performance awaits as Peterson hits prime time for the first time in 2011.
Wide Receiver: Calvin Johnson
Yeah, this looks like a pretty chalk list thus far. Calvin Johnson is an absolute beast. He has one thing going for him that others don't.
Johnson can be blanketed and still catch a pass. All that Matthew Stafford needs to do is throw the ball up and let his star receiver go and get it.
San Francisco might pull the upset here, but it's hard to see Johnson not having himself a nice afternoon.
Tight End: Rob Gronkowski
With the exception of Wes Welker, Gronkowski is Tom Brady's favorite target. Actually, in the red zone, he's the one and only favorite target.
Anyone who has that going for him is a pretty good bet to have a big day. I like his chances of doing well against the Dallas defense.
Kicker: Jason Hanson
If the 49ers are facing a team with a reliably good offense, the kicker opposing them is usually a pretty good bet for this spot.
In addition to that, Hanson is a good kicker and kicking indoors. This is likely to be a strong day from the veteran kicker.
Defense: Buffalo Bills
I am not worried about the fact that the Giants move the ball well and score a lot of points. Why doesn't that scare me?
Because while the Bills do allow points, they also force a lot of turnovers. Actually, the Bills' defense has scored a touchdown in each of the last three games.
Eli Manning can be a little turnover prone, so I like the Bills' chances at a nice afternoon. Even if they lose, the defense will get some points for fantasy owners.
