Week 6 of the NFL power rankings doesn't show too many drastic changes, however, the picture has become a bit more clear (as it should) in terms of separating the contenders from the pretenders.
So, let's get to it, here are the NFL power rankings for Week 6.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Green Bay Packers (LW 1) (5-0)
Winning on the road in Atlanta after being down 14-0 was impressive. Scoring 25 unanswered however, was just simply jaw-dropping.
2. New Orleans Saints (LW 2) (4-1)
The Saints have won four straight games since being ousted by the Packers in Week 1. The NFC Championship appears to be a rematch.
3. Detroit Lions (LW 4) (5-0)
The Lions know how to win in more ways than one. That said, could they be a wild card at 12-4 or 13-3?
4. Baltimore Ravens (LW 3) (3-1)
The hiccup loss at Tennessee got Baltimore refocused, and the defense has only allowed one TD in the last two games.
5. New England Patriots (LW 6) (4-1)
The pass defense is improving and Tom Brady keeps rolling.
But does anyone know about their No. 6 ranked rushing offense? Pretty impressive being that they're No. 1 in passing offense.
6. Buffalo Bills (LW 11) (4-1)
The rebound win against the Eagles was clutch after the road loss to Cincy.
A win on the road over the Giants will significantly increase their confidence when playing away from home.
7. San Diego Chargers (LW 9) (4-1)
The Bolts have thrived off an easy early season schedule, but once they hit their midseason stride like they usually do, San Diego will be one tough playoff out.
8. Houston Texans (LW 5) (3-2)
Injuries are killing them right now, but these next two weeks (at Baltimore and at Tennessee), will show us how good the Houston Texans really are.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (LW 10) (3-2)
The rush defense has gained confidence after shutting down Titans' RB Chris Johnson.
This week The Steel Curtain gets another solid RB test in the form of Jacksonville's Maurice Jones-Drew.
10. Oakland Raiders (LW 19) (3-2)
Winning on the road over Houston after owner Al Davis passed away displayed how focused the Raiders are.
Oakland is the most mentally tough team right now.
11. San Francisco 49ers (LW 18) (4-1)
Had it not been for their choke-job at home versus Dallas in Week 2, the 49ers would be 5-0.
Nonetheless, new head coach Jim Harbaugh was the best acquisition this offseason.
12. New York Giants (LW 7) (3-2)
Inconsistent play continues to hurt the Giants, and injuries are only making things worse.
Luckily the NFC East is wide open.
13. Chicago Bears (LW 12) (2-3)
The Bears have three losses, all against the NFL's three best teams.
If Chicago puts the Monday night effort into every remaining game, they'll be in the playoff hunt.
14. New York Jets (LW 15) (2-3)
The 2-0 start looked good, but the Jets have dropped three straight and things are only looking worse.
The rush offense and rush defense needs to become more established, otherwise Rex Ryan is missing the playoffs.
15. Dallas Cowboys (LW 16) (2-2)
Injuries have plagued Dallas, but the fourth-quarter has plagued them even more.
However, hope is still alive as ESPN says WRs Miles Austin and Dez Bryant appear to be back.
16. Washington Redskins (LW 17) (3-1)
Despite being the current NFC East leaders, Washington's best win came over an underperforming Giants' team, and they failed to defeat Dallas on the road.
Beating Philly at home this week is a must, otherwise we may see the Redskins fall just as fast as they rose.
17. Cincinnati Bengals (LW 21) (3-2)
They're definitely a team on the rise and the comeback win over Buffalo was impressive.
Heading into the bye at 4-2 is imperative, as is defeating Seattle. The need to be 5-2 before a very important six-game stretch that begins at Tennessee.
18. Tennessee Titans (LW 13) (3-2)
The loss at Pittsburgh put "fluke win" as a case for beating Baltimore.
However, with the Colts and Jags on the fritz and Houston injured, Tennessee could quickly gain the AFC South lead after their bye.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW 8) (3-2)
Close home wins over Atlanta and Indianapolis are outweighed by the embarrassing loss at San Fran.
If Tampa Bay wants to contend, they must be vastly superior when winning, instead of being vastly inferior when losing on the road.
20. Atlanta Falcons (LW 14) (2-3)
Finding ways to keep the momentum is necessary when your team is up 14-0. Also, having a pass defense would help in not allowing 30 points per game.
21. Seattle Seahawks (LW 25) (2-3)
In the weak NFC West, Seattle is only two games back of 4-1 San Francisco.
If their offense can improve just a little more, they're defense could sneak them into the playoff hunt.
22. Carolina Panthers (LW 20) (1-4)
Five games, four tough losses, and only one win to show for their miraculous efforts.
Carolina has played well, so the next step is winning, period.
23. Kansas City Chiefs (LW 28) (2-3)
The Chiefs looked like one of the worst teams ever assembled after their first two losses, but going 2-1 since Week 3 has 2011 back on the upswing.
Unfortunately the playoffs are already out of the question.
24. Philadelphia Eagles (LW 22) (1-4)
Apparently being dubbed "paper champs" angers all of your opponents, because Philly has gotten and is going to keep getting everyone's A-game no matter how much more they lose.
25. Minnesota Vikings (LW 31) (1-4)
Had Minnesota been in a different division they might be better than 1-4. Nonetheless, RB Adrian Peterson can carry them to 5-11 or 6-10 by himself.
Then they draft for passing offense and pass defense.
26. Cleveland Browns (LW 24) (2-2)
Browns fans can only hope the bye week cured some of the cynicism, because two wins against winless teams is not impressive regardless of where you play.
This is where QB Colt McCoy needs to really emerge as a leader.
27. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW 23) (1-4)
With no passing game, defenses are zoning in on RB Maurice Jones-Drew every game.
The defense is solid, but isn't good enough to play with their backs against the wall each week.
28. Arizona Cardinals (LW 26) (1-4)
Maybe trading for QB Kevin Kolb wasn't the answer, because the pass offense is still weak, and the pass defense is significantly underachieving without Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
The pass-rush needs to step up, otherwise Arizona is drafting near the top once again.
29. Denver Broncos (LW 27) (1-4)
With Tim Tebow under center it will be interesting to see how the Broncos' offense executes.
That said, it doesn't help when the defense allows almost 400 yards per game.
30. St. Louis Rams (LW 30) (0-4)
Until the Rams actually stop somebody from pounding the rock on them, the defense is going to be worn out by halftime of every game.
Unfortunately the offense can't help, as they have enough problems of their own.
31. Indianapolis Colts (LW 29) (0-5)
Indy has given an excellent amount of effort each week, but is falling short: They're simply not good enough.
However, that effort will pay off sooner than later, and the Colts should finish with two or three wins.
32. Miami Dolphins (LW 32) (0-4)
The defense is overrated and they're flaky starting QB is out.
Matt Moore isn't the answer, but, Andrew Luck and a new head coach is.
