MLB Playoffs Rangers vs Tigers Game 3 Live Blog: Play-by-Play Analysis, Reaction
The 2011 MLB Playoffs continue this evening with Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers. One can only hope tonight’s game will have an ending as exciting Game 2 when Nelson Cruz won the game for the Rangers with his walk-off grand slam.
Bleacher Report's live coverage will keep you informed from the opening pitch to the final out.
The Rangers haven’t performed well in Detroit, losing 16 of their last 20 regular season match-ups against the Tigers at Comerica Park. If the Rangers want to continue their pursuit of last season’s unfinished business and return to the World Series they will need to take at least one of these three games in Detroit.

The Tigers are facing an uphill battle to continue their quest for the World Series. Losing the first two games of the series to the Rangers make a comeback not probable for Jim Leyland’s team. They will need their pitchers and defense to stop the Rangers lineup. Detroit will also need some timely hitting from Miguel Cabrera, Austin Jackson, and the rest of the lineup.
