WWE News: Tyson Tomko Arrested for Drug Theft & Shooting Up in Chili's Restroom
In an sad story, TMZ is reporting that former WWE & TNA wrestler Travis "Tyson" Tomko—best known as Christian's former bodyguard/"problem solver,"—was arrested in St. Augustine, Florida, yesterday on robbery charges. In addition to the article, TMZ has a watermarked PDF of the police report, as usual. Allegedly, Tomko robbed a CVS pharmacy of oxycodone then went into a Chili's Restaurant, entered the Chili's restroom, prepared his score and injected it.
On Saturday, Tomko walked into the pharmacy claiming that he had lost his prescription for oxycodone and asked if anyone had turned it in. He left when the pharmacist told him that nobody had, only to return on Sunday and ask if he could be advanced some pills. He was refused, so he left.

Yesterday, Tomko returned and asked the pharmacist for all of the 15 and 30 milligram oxycodone pills they had. Tomko then threatened the pharmacist, saying "Do not make me hurt you" while he had his hand under his shirt "pointing something" (presumably pretending to have a gun) at him.
Upon being threatened, the pharmacist retrieved three bottles of oxycodone from the safe containing a total of 215, 15 milligram pills and gave them to Tomko. Tomko told the pharmacist he needed help with his addiction and left.
There was no security camera at the pharmacy, so the police officer who wrote the report could not observe anything other than Tomko entering the store and leaving with what appeared to be the bottles in question. Police went to Tomko's home, finding his wife, who said he wasn't there but that she would let them know when he returned.
Later, Tomko went to a nearby Chili's Restaurant, where he asked a waitress for a spoon. When she returned with a teaspoon, he said he needed a deeper spoon, so she got a soup spoon. He proceeded to go into the restroom's wheelchair-accessible stall, where he remained for 30 to 40 minutes until police arrived.
When the police made contact with him, he flushed something down the toilet. When he opened the stall door, he denied being on anything when asked. He agreed to roll up his sleeves, revealing needle marks and "blood running down his arm," according to the police report.
A syringe was found in a garbage can in the restroom. Tomko said that he left the rest of the pills in a restroom garbage can at Carraba's (apparently an Italian chain restaurant going by my Google search).
He denied threatening the pharmacist, saying that the only thing he said that could be perceived as a threat was "You don't understand, I need the pills." He said he expected the pharmacist to say he couldn't have the pills and denied implying that he had any kind of weapon.
Tomko added that he had never been arrested before and has a severe drug problem, which was made worse by recent personal problems. He was then arrested for strong arm robbery.
Since the count of remaining pills revealed that he had injected 178 pills (that's 2,670 milligrams of oxycodone injected intravenously, which is scary), he was taken to Flagler Hospital for evaluation. The doctors evaluated and discharged him into police custody. He was then transported to the county jail "without incident."
Travis Tomko is being held on $7,500 bond. I hope someone gets him into WWE sponsored rehab as soon as possible, because he could easily kill himself at this rate.
