NFL Power Rankings: Are the Green Bay Packers the League's Undisputed Best Team?
On Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers once again demonstrated that they are the NFL's best team. The Packers fell behind the Atlanta Falcons 14-0 early in the second quarter, then proceeded to slowly take the game over before pulling out a 25-14 win.
Green Bay has been led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is having a flat-out amazing season. Rodgers has completed 129 of 180 passes (71.7 percent) for 1,721 yards, with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions on the year. The 27-year-old signal-caller boasts a league-best 122.9 quarterback rating, and is averaging 344 yards per game.
Rodgers leads an offense that currently ranks fourth in the NFL in yards per game (428.6), and is scoring a league-high 34.6 points per game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While the Packers certainly aren't perfect on defense, they have managed to stay afloat. Green Bay is currently 21st in total yards allowed (375.6 yards per game), but the defense has been stingy against the run, as it is giving up just 75.8 yards per game (third in the NFL).
Again, things aren't perfect defensively, but the Packers are so good on offense that, until anyone proves they can stop Rodgers and the team's aerial attack, Green Bay will remain at the top of my power rankings.
When you consider that right now I have the New Orleans Saints—a team the Packers beat in Week 1—at No. 2 in my rankings, it should be pretty clear that I think Green Bay is far beyond anyone else in the league at this point.
Until anyone steps up and shows me otherwise, the Packers have proven to me that they belong at the top.
