Chris Johnson Injury: Updates on Titans RB's Week 7 Status and Fantasy Value
Somebody needs to tell Chris Johnson the football season started.
Whether the highly-paid running back got what he came for, or is still in holdout mode, the Titans have to be upset with his production thus far.

Chris Johnson was active today, as expected, but he was once again abysmal. Some are wondering if his conditioning is hampering his skills.
According to Titans Insider's Terry McCormick,
""But sources have told TitanInsider that Johnson's conditioning when he ended his holdout and reported to the team was perhaps not as good as it needed to be, and that that conditioning issue could be a factor in why the running back has been having problems getting going this season."
"
Johnson is averaging a dismal three yards per carry and has gone for over 53 yards only once on the season. He scored his first touchdown in the Week 5 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he also only gained 51 yards and, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, left with tightness in his hamstring.
Nothing else has since been reported and many expect the under-performing running back to be back on the field this week.
The Titans also have a bye this week, which should help any lingering issues Johnson may have with his hamstring.
Tennessee will travel to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 7 and they'll be looking to regain the form the form they had prior to the loss against Pittsburgh.
CJ doesn't want to regain that form though, he needs to find the old CJ—the one that thought he was going to run for 2,500 yards.
The Titans have actually won games in spite of his poor play and hope that doesn't change.
It would be nice, however, to have their highest paid player doing what he is paid so much to do.
The Titans have three straight home games after the bye week, including a visit from the woeful Indianapolis Colts. If Johnson cannot get himself together against a Colts front seven notorious for being gashed in the run game, then there are going to be big problems for the Titans and fantasy owners alike.
Regardless, don't expect Chris Johnson's name to pop up on any injury reports or see this injury limit Johnson, though he is doing a good enough job of limiting himself as it is.
More will be updated when more is known.
