Cardinals vs. Vikings: 5 Adjustments Arizona Must Make at the Half
These two teams are both looking for their first wins in weeks. The Cardinals have been in every game they've played, and look to make a turnaround in Week 5. However, it's been rough going here in the first half in Minnesota. Here are five adjustments that Arizona must make to get back in this game:
1. Kevin Kolb Must Play Better
Kevin Kolb looks like a zombie out there in the first half. He's already registered an interception and lost a fumble, allowing the Vikings easy scores that have built their confidence. He's got to keep his head in this game to not let it get completely out of hand.

2. Three-and-Outs
The Cardinals began the game with two straight three-and-outs. They have to move forward on offense from the beginning, not only to score, but to avoid giving the struggling Minnesota offense great field position. In the first half, they punted on three-and-outs so many times I lost count. This is simply unacceptable if they want to win this game.
3. Keep Wells Involved
Wells is coming off a career-best 138 yards last weekend. He had the first gain of the game for the Cardinals, but hasn't really been heard from since. He needs to register more successful carries to get his head in the game. He's the type of player that thrives off of his own success, and all he needs is a few first downs to get rolling.
4. Where Is Larry Fitzgerald?
The Cardinals have got to go to Fitz more. He has only one reception for 17 yards in the first half. He's Arizona's biggest offensive threat, and allowing him to stay quiet is almost sacrilegious for this offense. Look for him and Kolb to connect more often after the break.
5. Stop the Vikings' Running Game
Adrian Peterson has been carrying the Vikings (and Patrick Peterson) on his back. The Cardinals defensive line has got to contain him, and force McNabb to throw the ball. McNabb is looking a little shaky, so if the Cardinals can accomplish this task, they may be able to get back into the game.
