Fantasy Football Week 5: The Fantasy Stars from Every Late and Prime-Time Game
With the first set of teams set for bye weeks, the late and prime-time schedule offers only five games. Here are the players I project as the fantasy stars of each contest.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
Josh Freeman

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 'Niners' run defense is tough, but they have been terrible against the pass and terrible on offense all together. That leads me to Josh Freeman. He spreads the ball around, and the 'Niners give up tons of yardage from intermediate completions. Freeman could grab a 300-yard passing game with two TDs.
New York Jets at New England Patriots
Why not Tom Brady? One reason, Brady may very well throw one INT in this game. Welker figures to continue to see the bulk of Brady's throws as they deal with the Jets' pressure. Welker is the surest bet for eight catches and 100 yards receiving, week in and week out.
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
Phillip Rivers
Hopefully, Rivers can overcome the INT bug he seems to have been bit with early on this season. The Broncos' defense has been shoved away in the passing game all year, and Rivers will keep the pressure on. Rivers should go for at least 335 yards and two TDs.
Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons
Jermichael Finley
The Packers tight end is among the top two players at his position, and he will expose the aspect of the Falcons' defense that is weakest. The Falcons' LBs don't cover well and even if they did, they would still likely be outclassed by Finley anyway. I figure six catches for 100 yards and a TD.
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions
Matt Stafford
The Bears will do everything they can to take Calvin Johnson away and limit big plays. He'll get his, but the Lions will be forced to spread the ball around a little more.
Nate Burleson and the RBs should stand to benefit from this. It all equates to a good day for Stafford as the Bears usually give up a lot of passing yards, even in good performances.
