Winter Meetings Coming Up: Yankees Will Go All-In for Pitching

The Winter Meetings will take place next week in Las Vegas at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino from December 8th-11th.

This is where it all starts. This is the most exciting part of the off-season. Everything starts to heat up and moves start to be made. Maybe we will finally hear some news on CC’s decision.

It won’t be all about CC though. We all know the Yankees are interested in other guys as well, so hopefully talks heat up. This off-season has been pretty uneventful so far.

CC Sabathia..if it comes down to East Coast/West Coast

If CC Sabathia doesn’t want to come to New York because he prefers the West coast, then Girardi will get involved.

Girardi stated that he would help a free agent tour New York, showing him the professional side of pitching and talk about schools, his family, and other adjustments he would have to make.

The new stadium should also be a big chip. It won’t be the main reason someone would want to come to New York, but it sure helps.

Bad economy hurting even the Yankees

CC Sabathia was at the Golden State Warriors game last night. Tim Kawakami of the Mercury News caught up with CC after the game. This is what happened:

Turns back to me. I say: So that’s an official no comment?
