Joe's Wrestling 411, What You Need to Know

I have been watching a lot of WWE TV and been surfing through everywhere known to man on the internet to bring you my 411 this week. Although it is a slow week currently, it always picks up, believe me.

If you watched WWE SmackDown last week, you saw that Gregory "Hurricane" Helms said he was returning this week. And it has been a long time coming. I mean he has been gone so long that the crusierweight title was still around when he was last seen in the WWE.

Also Kizarny the newest in the WWE strange character on the year club is coming to the WWE and is going to be along with Helms, at the SmackDown tapings. He was supposed to be on SmackDown last week, but they pulled him at the last minute, as they felt they would go over time.

WWE Stock has dropped once again. It was coming up and even Linda McMahon was in New York to be there to ring in the new day last week. But just as all stocks are, it dropped anyway.

With the economy the way it is, it is not a shocker it would go down. However since Christmas time is upon us, WWE merchandise will be sold a lot. So possibly WWE stock could go up a few cents because of it, but that is uncertain.

There has been another match added to Armageddon this week. If you saw RAW last night, you saw that a Randy Orton vs Batista match-up is set for the PPV.

The return of the Slammy's are next week on RAW. All six Superstar of the Year candidates for the Slammys are going to be head to head with each other next week. Here are the matchups:

John Cena vs Edge

Chris Jericho vs Jeff Hardy

Triple H vs Batista

Next week is a special start time at 8/7c and will be a three hour show on USA.

And the WWE is cutting back once again, and as I warned you there were more releases to come, this time it was a producer. The WWE released Bruce Prichard according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. Prichard is best known to fans as Brother Love.

My personal favorite will be SmackDown this week, I hope it is better than RAW was. Personally I didn't like it as much as I usually do. Last week of course you saw a lot of the returns on RAW.

You even had Melina come back, whose entrance was kind of spoiled because her video came up during Candice's entrance. Needless to say the guy in the truck was probably fired or at least fined.

It was like I said a good show last week, but not nearly as good this week. Sure the ending was good and also Santino's try on Melina's entrance too, but that was pretty much it.

I expected a lot out of the Morrison and Finley match-up where I hoped Morrison would be the victor. He did win, but there was only the kick at the end that got me pumped.

The Mysterio injury was of course fake, but I really didn't get why the WWE added Knox coming out and making a bully type impression on Mysterio. It was so stupid, and the fall was really fake.

WWE your better than that, why add something that isn't needed? Knox's image as a bully may get better, but at that point it was just dumb to me. Mysterio used that arm a few to many times in the match for me.

Sure he covered it up, but with a real injury you couldn't do as he did in a match. And you could land on it that many times either. Just a dumb storyline for my taste.

I felt disappointed with the flagship show this week, and it didn't do well in the ratings either, even with Dancing With the Stars off the air, which usually is No. 1 when it is on. And I know everyone flocked to the Jaguars/Texans game, ya right.

They should have done better this week, especially with No. 1 shows on the decline, just disappointing.

But possibly SmackDown can make up for it for the WWE, with a debut and a return this week it is sure to be good. And seeing Jeff Hardy in action is always something to look forward to.
