Fantasy Football Week 5 Rankings: Reggie Wayne and 5 Risky WRs
When setting your fantasy football lineups for Week 5 of the NFL season, consider these five receivers risky plays:
Reggie Wayne, Colts
In the first two games of the Colts' run with Curtis Painter, you get the feeling that the new quarterback has more chemistry with Pierre Garcon. That's really hurt Wayne's fantasy value over that stretch. He has just seven catches for 83 yards and no scores while Garcon is well over 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kansas City is a nice matchup offensively for the Colts, but don't be surprised if Painter is looking Garcon's way again for the third straight week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Mario Manningham, Giants
Manningham returned from injury in Week 4 and saw some early first-half targets, but Victor Cruz is clearly outplaying him. Manningham hardly saw a sniff in the final 30 minutes while Cruz continued his surprising production. You can't be sure if it's going to be a "hot-hand" type of approach or if Manningham's playing time will start to decrease. Until you know for sure, be cautious.
Nate Washington, Titans
In his first real appearance as the Titans' No. 1 receiver, Washington caught a pair of passes for 62 yards. Not a terrible output, but it is below what we've seen from him in the first three weeks. I think he'll still miss Kenny Britt lining up opposite him. The Steelers are hurting right now, but they're also still covering the pass as well as any team in the NFL this season. Be wary with Washington in this matchup.
Roddy White, Falcons
White has had just one big performance this season (140 yards against Tampa Bay), and Julio Jones got a lot of looks last week in Seattle. The stats are still there, but I'm sure fantasy owners would appreciate a higher return on their investment. And while White has always produced against the Packers, don't be surprised if there is some extra attention paid to him this weekend. White had a bunch of disrespectful things to say about the Packers in the offseason. Those type of things stick with players.
Donald Driver, Packers
Driver returned from a knee injury to catch a touchdown pass last week, but he's been one of the more risky receiver plays in 2011. The decline in production has been steep. Through four games, he has just eight catches for 71 yards. In the two games against the Falcons in 2010—both monster games for the Packers passing offense—Driver was hardly a factor, averaging under 50 yards a contest. Keep him on your bench.
