WWE Monday Night RAW: Could We Be Witnessing the Birth of a New Great Stable?
This past Monday, RAW featured a 12-man tag match that for once allowed every participant to shine over the course of about 25 minutes. This, to me, was a welcome change to the usual mess of two minutes of action followed by everybody hitting their finishers in a convoluted ending. While we still had the spot of everybody hitting their finishers, the match developed nicely and everybody got to take their time in hitting their finishers instead of it being one big rush.
Other than the match itself though, the thing that had me hugely intrigued was the way that the six heels acted like a stable during their match. If you add in the fact that they had Vickie Guerrero out there with them as manager, I felt like we were witnessing the days of the Four Horsemen, Evolution, and the NWO.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
I don't know if it was WWE's plan to have it look that way, but subtle things such as when Dolph Ziggler was knocked out of the ring and they all banded together to come up with a plan to get back on top made it look more like a stable.
The point that set it into motion for me thinking this way was a simple camera shot at the heel side of the ring. It was a pretty brief shot, but it encompassed all of the heels and Vickie was in the shot too.
Think about it for a minute. The heel team consisted of Alberto Del Rio (Champion), Christian (former champion), Cody Rhodes (IC Champ), Dolph Ziggler (US Champ) Jack Swagger (former champion) and David Otunga (former tag champion). If they all banded together under Vickie Guerrero as a stable, they could be a great form of the classic wrestling stables.
With Del Rio there, Ricardo Rodriguez would be included as well. This stable could rule over both brands considering Cody is on Smackdown, and Christian is on Smackdown as well.
With three current champions a part of the mix, they would have no trouble recruiting more people into the fold (I'm looking at you Mark Henry), as they have come together because of the way they have been treated. Almost any heel would feel they have been wronged at one point or another, so the possibilities are endless.
This stable wouldn't necessarily even need anybody else. Everybody has been some type of champion at one point or another, and if they needed the tag titles to feel complete, who better than Christian to lead the way on that one?
I know that there have been many other great stables than the ones I listed before, but I just didn't have time to get to them in this article. I think a stable could breathe a fresh breath of air back into the WWE, and these six guys could definitely make it happen.
All of them would be elevated in status, and even David Otunga, who many people complain about, would learn much from this group of guys.
Please WWE, bring back a stable.
