MLB Playoffs 2011: Power Ranking the Jerseys, Caps of All 4 LCS Teams
Well, it's that time of year folks and we are just one step away from the Fall Classic.
That said, regardless of what happens on the field, there will always be an ongoing debate about who has the best uniforms.
Therefore, however this year's league championship series play out, here is a ranking of all four teams between the uniforms and hats.
Let's begin with the uniforms.
4. St. Louis Cardinals
1 of 8On both it's either all gray or all white, the logo and nickname doesn't change on the front.
Doesn't need a change, but going back to the 1980s blue alternates would be sweet.
3. Texas Rangers
2 of 8The Rangers have four total uniforms—two regular and two alternates.
Both red and blue alternates are cool, but the white with the blue letters and red outline works the best.
It's clean, crisp and straight up solid.
2. Detroit Tigers
3 of 8Whether it's these away uni's, or the home with the capital D in old english cursive (which is one of the best in the majors), the Detroit Tigers have some great uniforms.
The orange sticks out well on the away unis and the city name across the front is even better.
1. Milwaukee Brewers
4 of 8In addition to these cool home uni's that have the slick gold outlining the navy blue, the Brew Crew also can bust out a gold uni.
And, whenever they go back to the alternate outfit with the blue pinstripes over the light blue letters, that takes the cake in the LCS.
4. Milwaukee Brewers
5 of 8Their old logo was much better, and even though a capital M is cool with the gold outlines, Milwaukee will never top the baseball glove with an "M" making the web.
3. Texas Rangers
6 of 8The Rangers hats are either all red or all blue, though not bad, having an alternate white cap with a blue or red capital "T" would add some swag.
2. St. Louis Cardinals
7 of 8The "S" curving through the capital "L" is great.
You immediately recognize this hat anywhere and let's hope the Cards ballcap never changes.
1. Detroit Tigers
8 of 8The capital D on both caps is awesome.
And what's better is the Tigers have an orange D for the road, but a white D for home.
Still, the sweet old english cursive never changes.
Classic.
