Andre Johnson Injury: Are the Houston Texans Cursed?
The Houston Texans hold a 10-7 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third quarter of today's game, but even should the Texans hold on for the victory and improve to 3-1, the victory could prove to be a costly one, as star wide receiver Andre suffered an apparent knee injury.
The loss of Johnson for any period of time would be a devastating blow to the Houston offense, which has already been beset by injuries. Running back Arian Foster has been in and out of the lineup while dealing with a hamstring injury, and his backup, Ben Tate, injured his groin in today's game as well. In addition, wide receiver Kevin Walter only recently returned to the lineup after injuring his shoulder in the season opener, and wideout Jacoby Jones has been battling a knee problem.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
To this point the Texans have weathered this storm fairly well, but the loss of Andre Johnson could prove to be a tipping point, as you just can't replace arguably the best wide receiver in the National Football League, and his absence would almost certainly have a significant negative impact on the Texans ability to move the ball through the air.
For the past few years the Houston Texans have been a team that many expected to take that mythical next step and make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history, and with the Indianapolis Colts reeling from injuries of their own 2011 seemed that it would finally be the year.
However, with the Tennessee Titans playing well and the injuries continuing to pile up for the Texans you have to wonder if the Texans will once again be left on the outside looking in, and while I'm not the sort that generally believes in curses the Texans offense certainly appears to be snakebit this year.
