WWE Hell in a Cell 2011: Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger Key to WWE Revolution

Mike ChiariOct 1, 2011

While it has yet to be confirmed by the WWE itself, Wrestling News World is reporting that a Tag Team Championship match between the titleholders Air Boom and the challenging team of Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger has been added to the Hell in a Cell card.

At first glance that may seem like an insignificant, card-filling match, but in actuality, it could very well have major implications on future WWE storylines. Most of you probably still aren't convinced, so allow me to introduce my theory.

Over the past week, a stable of superstars including Ziggler, Swagger, Vickie Guerrero, Cody Rhodes, Christian and David Otunga have been meeting with John Laurinaitis and discussing a law suit against the WWE because of respective conspiracies against them.

Note that Ziggler is the United States Champion and Rhodes is the Intercontinental Champion. I expect Ziggler and Swagger to defeat Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne for the Tag Team Championships to open the show, and this will open the floodgates for the creation of a dominant heel stable led by Laurinaitis.

Throughout the night, Beth Phoenix will capture the Divas Championship and Mark Henry will retain the World Heavyweight Championship. At some point during the triple threat Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship, Kevin Nash, The Miz and R-Truth will crash the match as Laurinaitis opens the cell door with a key.

Nash, Miz and Truth will proceed to attack John Cena and CM Punk, allowing Alberto Del Rio to pin Punk and win the WWE Championship for a second time. Either after the match or the following night on RAW, it will be revealed that a heel stable has formed under the direction of Laurinaitis.

This stable will include Ziggler, Swagger, Rhodes, Phoenix, Henry, Del Rio, Christian, Otunga, Natalya, Vickie Guerrero, Nash, Miz and Truth. This means that the stable will be in possession of every title in the WWE. Every superstar in the stable also feels as though they are being conspired against by Triple H in some way.

Laurinaitis will claim that since they are in possession of every championship, they hold all the negotiating power in terms of getting Triple H fired. This will eventually lead to a match at Survivor Series in which Triple H's team will face Laurinaitis' team for control of the WWE.

If you're thinking that it wouldn't make sense for some of those particular superstars to join Laurinaitis, allow me to explain. Phoenix and Natalya make sense since they believe that powerful divas are being conspired against in favor of "Barbie" type divas like Kelly Kelly.

Henry would join because, although he has been offered handshakes by many since winning the World Heavyweight Championship, the only one he has accepted is Laurinaitis'. Also, he keeps playing up the angle that nobody in the WWE has ever believed in him, and he was fined $250,000 by Triple H.

Finally, Del Rio fits because he is disenchanted with Triple H after he forced him to compete in a triple threat Hell in a Cell match for his rematch for the WWE Championship.

Obviously this theory contains a ton of moving parts, but all of these superstars feel as though they have been slighted by the WWE, and having every title in one stable would certainly make it immediately credible.

I can't speculate on how successful this particular stable will be, but Ziggler and Swagger winning the Tag Team Championships in a seemingly unimportant match will be the catalyst.
