NFL Predictions Week 4: Wes Welker and the 3 WRs Sure to Be Heavily Targeted
Wide receiver production can often be the difference between a win and a loss in a fantasy matchup.
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker is targeted more than any NFL receiver, but there are a handful of pass catchers that will get a lot of looks in Week 4.
Let's start with Welker...

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wes Welker
This man is a God in PPR fantasy leagues. He has eight more targets (42) than anyone else in the NFL right now, and don't expect his high number of per-game targets to change.
The Raiders secondary allowed Mark Sanchez to throw for 369 yards last week, while Ryan Fitzpatrick lit them up in the second half in Week 2.
Brady will have a field day in Oakland, and Welker is the first guy he looks to on seemingly every pass play.
Rolando McClain is an emerging star at the linebacker position, but he isn't quick enough to stick with Welker and the variety of underneath option-routes he runs.
Roddy White
Although I think the Falcons will give Michael Turner more carries than the 11 he received last week, I do expect head coach Mike Smith to go for the throat early in this one with Roddy White.
Julio Jones has started to acclimate himself to the speed of the NFL and is starting to become a threat within Atlanta's offense.
As a result, White should start to see more single coverage, which will lead to more targets from Ryan. He is currently the second-most targeted receiver behind the aforementioned Welker at 34.
Mike Wallace
I see the Texans-Steelers matchup as a shootout.
Mike Wallace has established himself as more than a deep threat—he's a speedy wideout who can move the chains with crisp underneath and intermediate routes.
I really think Wallace is Ben Roethlisberger's favorite target now because of how he's improved overall as a receiver and the dual threat he brings on every down.
He has been targeted 27 times so far. Even against Johnathan Joseph, I think Big Ben will frequently look Wallace's way.
