NFL Fantasy Predictions Week 4: Frank Gore and 8 Players Who Could Disappoint
When setting your fantasy football lineups for Week 4 of the NFL season, consider these eight players—including Frank Gore of the 49ers—as players who could potentially disappoint.
Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers
Gore is nursing a tender ankle, and while indications are that he'll likely play on Sunday, he's a risky start. Backup Kendall Hunter has shown explosiveness in his absence, and that should be enough to at least get a carries split against the Eagles. Not good news for Gore owners.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Nate Washington, Tennessee Titans
There is a lot of hype surrounding Washington in Week 4, as Kenny Britt is out for the season and Washington has posted respectable numbers through the first three games. However, he's never been a true No. 1 receiver, and when he's been given the chance, he hasn't delivered. Let the fantasy storm around him cool, and give him a look as a No. 1, before you jump on Washington's bandwagon.
Arian Foster, Houston Texans
Until you see Foster finish a full 60 minutes, it's probably safe to keep him on your bench. It's always better to let big points go on the bench than let a zero get posted in your starting lineup. This is especially true in Foster's case, as the Texans have a more-than-capable backup in Ben Tate ready at the first sign of weakness from Foster.
Kyle Orton, Denver Broncos
It might almost be expected for Orton to struggle three games into the season. He's been average and the non-stop talk about Tim Tebow certainly doesn't help. Now, he gets to travel to Green Bay to take on the defending champions. That doesn't shape up in Orton's favor, especially considering he's completing less than 50 percent of his passes in four career games against the Packers.
Shonn Greene, New York Jets
How many chances does this guy get? The Jets continue to feed him the ball, and while he finally improved yardage-wise on Sunday against the Raiders, he wasn't the dominant player many have been waiting for the past two years. The Ravens will make sure Week 4 isn't a breakout for Greene.
DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers
Sixty-one rushing yards in three games is the definition of a disappointing player and there's really no reason to think that's going to change against the Bears. His big contract will ensure he sees the ball enough, but Jonathan Stewart has taken claim to the title of the team's best back in 2011.
Brandon Lloyd, Denver Broncos
If Orton struggles in Green Bay, it's more than likely that Lloyd will follow suit. He's still battling a bad groin, and you'd like a guy to be 100 percent when going up against Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson.
Anquan Boldin, Baltimore Ravens
Two words: Darrelle Revis. Boldin draws the best cornerback in the NFL (and it's not even close), which limits his fantasy capabilities on Sunday night. I'd store him on the bench.
