WWE Rumors: Triple H Struggling To Get over a Cause of Vince McMahon's Bad Mood?

In regards to Vince McMahon most dirt sheets have been focusing on the fact that the Chairman of the Board threw a hissy fit behind the scenes of Raw during the September 19 live show. Many attest this outburst to the fact that his name was mentioned by Alberto Del Rio during a pre-taped segment.

This seems to suggest that at some point McMahon will be making his return to WWE TV and wanted to keep it a surprise. Another possibility has arisen, however, due to the reason why his name was added in the first place.

Triple H has recently had a hard time getting his COO character over as a face. This is always bound to happen when you feud with one of the most popular characters in the company. Just ask The Rock about his match at WrestleMania X8. Creative was hoping to make it clear to the fans that Triple H was nothing like Vince—the heels hate him and the face get along with him.

The problem is that the Chairman's name drew no crowd reaction. People didn't care whether Triple H was aligned with Vince or not. I would be so daring as to say the people don't care about Vince McMahon anymore.

Sure, back in the Attitude Era the man was arguably the biggest heel in the company. This was much due to the fact he was the boss you always wanted to punch in the face. Nine times out of 10 this would be achieved as well. But over a decade later, at the age of 66, there isn't much he can offer the business anymore.

We won't be able to see him take on his own wrestlers in credible competitions any more and the WWE will fail to move forward if his character keeps coming back to be the boss. Perhaps Vince McMahon should recognize that his time as a performer has passed on and he is no longer needed in front of the camera.

In addition to this, apparently at last Monday's Raw he was in a much better mood, especially when Michael Cole claimed Jerry Lawler was suffering from anal bleeding...
