Fantasy Football Week 4 Projections: Projecting Aaron Rodgers and Top 10 QBs

Zach KruseJun 7, 2018

Below are the fantasy projections for the Top 10 quarterbacks heading into Week 4 of the NFL season:

Tom Brady, Patriots: Forget the four interceptions, that likely won't happen again this season. The Raiders have given up yards this season in the passing game, and we all know how prolific Brady has been in putting up historic numbers to start 2011.

Projection: 379 yards, 3 TDs

Aaron Rodgers, Packers: He hasn't matched Brady in yards every week, but Rodgers has been just as dominant in leading the Packers to a 3-0 record. Now, he gets the Broncos at home. Expect big numbers again.

Projection: 312 yards, 3 TDs

Drew Brees, Saints: The Jaguars have been surprisingly good against the pass in 2011, but they've yet to face a quarterback in the elite category like Brees. Let's see the Jags prove it against the best before we crown them a tough fantasy matchup for quarterbacks.

Projection: 302 yards, 2 TDs, INT

Philip Rivers, Chargers: Miami has been better against the pass, but it's hard to forget their 500-yard collapse to Brady and the Pats in Week 1. Rivers won't reach that number, but he should put up big numbers against the third worst fantasy defense against opposing quarterbacks.

Projection: 355 yards, 2 TDs, INT

Matthew Stafford, Lions: Now that we have a three-game sample to go on, it's time to announce the arrival of Stafford as one of the top five or six fantasy quarterbacks. The Cowboys pass rush could give him trouble, but the secondary should not.

Projection: 296 yards, 3 TDs, INT

Tony Romo, Cowboys: The numbers weren't fantastic for Romo on Monday night, but he did enough to get the Cowboys a win. While I don't like the matchup against the Lions' defensive front, Romo has been consistent enough to count on decent numbers.

Projection: 223 yards, 2 TDs, INT

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills: Same logic for Stafford applies for Fitzpatrick. We've seen enough in a three-game sample to expect good things moving forward. He faces an untested but well performing Bengals defense on Sunday.

Projection: 289 yards, 3 TDS, 2 INTs

Eli Manning, Giants: From a fantasy perspective, you never really know what you're going to get from Manning. His four-touchdown performance last week was encouraging though, and the Cardinals secondary has been burned all season long.

Projection: 215 yards, 3 TDs, INT

Jay Cutler, Bears: He had some head-scratching throws in last Sunday's loss to the Packers, but he's historically struggled mightily against the Bears' division rival. Playing the Panthers, one of the NFL's worst pass defenses, should help right the ship.

Projection: 297 yards, TD, INT

Cam Newton, Panthers: The Bears defense has actually been one of the league's worst against the pass, but Newton still has his hands full on Sunday. The threat of the run could help stretch the Bears' mostly Cover-2 look, however.

Projection: 201 yards, TD, 2 INTs, 45 yards rushing, TD
