Fantasy Football Rankings Week 4: 3 Quarterbacks Who Will Score Big

jim beamJun 2, 2018

The 2011 season is turning out to be a big year for quarterbacks. Three quarterbacks have already thrown for 1,000 yards, while nine quarterbacks have thrown for 900 yards.

The NFL’s elite quarterbacks have continued to flourish (with the exception of Peyton Manning), while rookies Cam Newton and Andy Dalton have been impressive during their debut seasons.

Here are three quarterbacks who will put up big numbers during Week 4.

Tom Brady

1 of 3

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a serious threat to break Dan Marino’s single-season passing record of 5,084 yards, and playing the Oakland Raiders should help him keep pace with the record.

The Raiders’ pass defense allows an average of 289 passing yards per game, and it is safe to assume that Brady will feast on the Oakland secondary.

Philip Rivers

2 of 3

The Miami Dolphins pass defense has been dreadful in 2011. They are ranked 30th in the NFL with 311 passing yards allowed per game and have surrendered eight touchdowns through the air. Expect those numbers to get worse when they play against Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers.

Rivers has thrown for 979 yards, but has had accuracy problems early on, having already thrown six interceptions. The Dolphins defense has only recorded two interceptions, and their inability to force turnovers should greatly benefit Rivers.

Aaron Rodgers

3 of 3

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers should continue to put up big numbers against the Denver Broncos’ mediocre pass defense. Rodgers has thrown eight touchdowns to one interception in 2011, while the Broncos have yet to record an interception.

Look for Rodgers to have a huge day in front of the home crowd at Lambeau Field.
