Tom Brady: Why Patriots Fans Shouldn't Be Concerned After Loss to Buffalo Bills
The New England Patriots lost to the Buffalo Bills 34-31 on Sunday, dropping to 2-1, and it was the play of Tom Brady that cost the Patriots the game.
Tom Brady cost the Patriots the game? As much as that question sounds absurd to people who've watched Brady throw for almost 1,000 yards during the first two games of the year, his four interceptions against the Bills were too much for the Patriots to overcome.
After the game Brady acknowledged the Patriots made too many mistakes to win the game. “We played a good football team, we made too many mistakes,” Brady said after the loss via CBS. “It’s tough to overcome as many mistakes as we did.”

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brady threw only four interceptions in all of last season.
One of the most upsetting things about Brady's performance is how bad he looked after he got off to such a great start.
The Patriots scored twice on their first two drives. Brady threw touchdown passes to wide receiver Wes Welker and tight end Rob Gronkowski to give the Patriots a quick 14-0 lead, then found Gronkowski again to extend the lead to 21-0.
As bad as Brady looked in the second half, his stat line is not all bad. He did throw for 387 yards with four touchdowns, and completed 30-of-45 passes.
To be fair to Brady, a couple of his interceptions were not entirely his fault. One second-half interception came when Danny Woodhead bobbled a pass near the sideline as the Patriots were driving towards a score, and another came from a wild tip of a Bills pass rusher, forcing the ball into the air and into the hands of Bills defensive back Drayton Florence.
Brady's interceptions weren't all the result of poor passes, and judging by the amount of interceptions he normally throws, Sunday's loss to the Bills was certainly a fluky performance.
Brady has now thrown for more yards than any quarterback in a three-game stretch, and the offense is firing on all cylinders.
The Patriots are 2-1, and their schedule is not as difficult as it normally is. Today's loss the Bills was hard to take for Patriots fans, whose team hardly ever blows big leads, but the season is young, and there's no need to panic.
