Peyton Hillis Injury: Will Strep Throat Limit Browns' Beastly RB vs Dolphins?
Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is suffering from strep throat and a fever, but will play today against the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
While the illness will affect Hillis, I do not think it will be enough to significantly decrease either his effectiveness or impact in today's game.
Through two games, Hillis has 44 rushes for 151 yards, two touchdowns and 10 receptions for 53 yards. He's the most valuable member of the Browns offense and though ill, he should have a good showing against the Dolphins this afternoon.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We've seen this movie before: A sick football player takes the field, plays through the illness and has a monster day. While that's not a guarantee with Hillis, the fact he is going to play is reason enough to believe that he should perform well.
Whether you're a Browns fan or a fantasy owner with Hillis on your roster, do not be concerned about Hillis' illness limiting his production today.
While he may feel terrible now, and he may feel worse once the game is over, for the 60 minutes the teams are playing, Hillis will be out there trying to perform as close to 100 percent as possible. Indeed, strep throat and a fever are a bit easier for a running back to manage than a hamstring pull or turf toe.
More of a concern for the Dolphins should be whether they want to continually get in Hillis' face, considering he's potentially contagious.
UPDATED: According to Jay Glazer, Hillis is out of the game today.
