Jaguars vs. Panthers: 4 Second Half Adjustments Carolina Should Make
It was wet, slick and looked like a game that is being played up North.
But believe it or not, the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars are in the South in a downpour.
Backyard football at its best.
It looked like the Panthers were controlling a tight game for most of the half until Blaine Gabbert got his first touchdown pass.
With all that hasn't happened in this contest, there is still more Carolina can do to control the game and pull out a win.
4. Close Running Lanes
1 of 4The Panthers allowed Jones-Drew 54 yards rushing in the first half. If they are going to win, the run defense has to play tighter.
3. Let Cam Newton Win the Game
2 of 4He has been carrying players on his back when he moves the ball.
Cam Newton has been a tough tackle for the Jags.
Let the rookie make plays with his feet to set up the pass.
2. Use the Running Game More
3 of 4It seemed like the running game moved a bit against the Jags and then it stopped.
Jonathan Stewart looked like he had a huge play in the second quarter that came back.
If they can use the running backs in the running game, this will cause issues for the Jaguars run defense.
1. Remain Calm and Things Will Happen
4 of 4This is a game where ball control means a great deal.
If the Panthers can control the game between the tackles, they can control the clock and win the game
