Fantasy Football Week 3 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Why You Must Sit Eli Manning
For such a big name like Eli Manning, this is actually a pretty easy call to make.
I was always leery calling him a top fantasy quarterback, but he was probably drafted in the first six rounds of many fantasy drafts across the country and was selected to be the team's primary starter at the position.
To begin, can you count on Manning to not throw interceptions?.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At this juncture, I don't think you can.
He assured everyone he would turn the ball over less this year (he threw 25 picks last year—yikes), but he's still thrown a pick in each game and isn't throwing for a ton of yards.
Sure, his QB rating is 82 through two games, but he has yet to complete more than 19 passes.
Secondly, Domenik Hixon is done for the year and we aren't sure if Mario Manningham is going to play against the Eagles.
Oh yes, the Eagles.
Asante Samuel is a turnover machine and Hakeem Nicks will have a tough time shaking Nnamdi Asomugha.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie isn't a bad third cornerback, either.
The entire defensive backfield for the Eagles is pretty impressive, which doesn't bode well for Manning owners whatsoever, especially with a depleted receiving corps.
Philadelphia's pass rush, anchored by Trent Cole, should be able to get to Eli and could force some hurried throws that result in interceptions.
Don't be shocked to see a strip-sack or two, either.
As the season progresses and New York's receivers are nursed back to health, Manning may return as a viable fantasy starter, but right now, he just isn't there.
Go to your roster page and take Eli Manning out of your starting quarterback spot. Even the guy you drafted to be your backup is most likely a better option this week.
