WWE and an Awesome Truth: HHH, the Anarchists, the Conspiracy & the Rebellion
"Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of today."

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Triple-H, his sledgehammer in hand, awaited the arrival of the rebellion outside the gates of the kingdom. Triple-H, while having tried every solution his power would allow, finally realized he was the one that had to defend his throne, his empire and his pride against this ever growing revolution within the WWE universe. Some know the revolution by one name: CM Punk.
The two would meet in an epic struggle that defied the laws of peaceful resolution, sportsmanship and respect. The king of kings was to put everything he had on the line in order to rid the universe of this little rebel and the masses that followed him. This was personal. This was madness. This was war.
There is something odd about our current state within the WWE. Who, exactly, is pulling the strings that governments tend to pull? Is it the current holder of the throne, Triple H? The former right hand man of Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis? Or perhaps is it an unknown being that has yet to reveal themselves to the king, the kingdom and those that watch on with eager anticipation? Could there really be an invincible government?
CM Punk has decided to not ask these questions, but instead wage war on the man who holds the "position" of king, Triple H. Perhaps their battle was needed for respect to be given mutually, but their battle has solved nothing to untangle the web of conspiracy that hangs over the WWE universe.
Their battleground was to be called " The Night of Champions." The patrons of the universe would watch as their cult leader looked to behead the leadership of the WWE.
Triple-H would find himself successful in his attempt to pause the rebellion and prove he was not the one Punk should be entangled with. There is more than meets the eyes to this "conspiracy"; perhaps now Punk's eyes are opened.
CM Punk, now humbled, has questions to ask himself. If not Triple H, then who is the wizard of this Oz? If not Triple-H, then did he almost rid the universe of potentially his greatest ally?
CM Punk's rebellion is on hold for now and CM Punk is left to ponder his thoughts. There is a new evil growing. Anarchists have arrived sensing the blood in the water of this crumbling empire. CM Punk must now aid the kingdom and its king in not only a search for truth, but against the attacks of those who seek their own selfish, awesome agendas.
Let's Meet the Anarchists
"If men were to feel entitled to anything...they would have everything."
- Unknown
As the kingdom recovers from the first waged battle from CM Punk against Triple-H and his crumbling establishment; there are those that choose to defy the King in a separate attempt at anarchy. Their agenda is clear; dethrone Triple-H as king, end the conspiracy, his supposed reign as tyrant, and claim their rights to all they feel entitled too.
These anarchists, known as The Miz and R-Truth, have long since believed they were entitled to more then they were ever given by the powers that control their progress. While their journeys have been very different from each other along the way they discovered a common bond that has brought them together. The Miz, and his self appointed awesomeness, has teamed up with Truth and his warped sense of reality to form an anarchist group simply known as "The Awesome Truth".
R-Truth
R-Truth has, even before Punk was deemed the rebel, always believed that there was a conspiracy among the powers that be within the WWE. His pain and suffering could all be blamed on a greater power simply know to him as "Lil Jimmy".
This greater power had supposedly pushed R-Truth down the ladder of success in favor of those the "Jimmies" deemed more worthy than him. To them, Truth was a joke. He was a cartoon, a has-been and a nobody. Truth would soon find that he lacked both the support of the universe and support of the government that oversaw the people.
There would be no more song and dance from the once happy, proud Truth; The darkness had grown into the incarnation of Truth we see today. He is a paranoid, insane, delusional caricature of the man the universe once knew. While others shared the same sentiments that Truth now stood for; no one would dare take sides with this lunatic. Anarchy was not the answer to them.
Truth would be alone to deal with his accusations and propaganda. He would be alone in his quest to uncover the conspiracy running rampant within the kingdom. Little did everyone know, that while it wasn't aimed at Truth himself, a conspiracy was breathing life the entire time. Truth, in some respects, has been vindicated.
The Miz
A long time ago, before the rebellion and the breaking of R-Truth, The Miz was champion of the kingdom. Times were good for the warrior who had seemingly climbed his way to the top of the WWE mountain within the course of a year.
He would be given numerous titles, a briefcase and a side kick. He even defeated the great Randy Orton and John Cena to win and retain his beloved WWE championship. There were no thoughts of conspiracy, hearsay, or heretics to The Miz.
He was living his dream and no one would take that from him. He had beat the system. He was the system.
However, the WWE universe has a funny way of self-correcting itself sometimes...
The fall from grace The Miz saw was unparalleled in his time. No longer was he champion; lost to the consummate warrior John Cena. He no longer possessed his trusty, but faulty side kick; lost to his own delusions, and misplaced anger.
More importantly, he no longer sat at the top of the mountain. The path he carved had since been erased by a new trailblazer who was paving his own path.
The Miz had lost everything he built in a year all in the span of a month. He was to be forgotten; Forever lost among the ones he felt superior to.
R-Truth would now have someone that didn't need to be persuaded. The Miz would voluntarily align himself with the "lunatic" in hopes of causing catastrophic change within the WWE kingdom. What was their mission? To dethrone Triple-H and everything that stood in their way of uncovering the truth.
They would launch their first attack during the Night of Champions. While they failed to dethrone Triple-H as king, they let their presence be known to the universe. The Awesome Truth had arrived. Their search for truth and self-entitlement had begun.
It was to be their one and only attempt at the throne. Their actions would issue in the beginning of the end for them.
The Truth has (Literally) Set Them Free
Triple-H, the night after his successful defense against the rebellion, summoned these anarchists to his throne room. The anarchists, hat in hand, knowing they had committed an act of high treason walked shamefully into the unknown.
The King's demeanor was forgiving and forthright. These anarchists, The Awesome Truth, were given a pass for their actions. Perhaps the one they thought of as a tyrant was only that... a thought.
A persons demeanor and words can be misleading though.
As Truth and Miz scampered away from the battlegrounds that same night after losing to the team of CM Punk, and John Cena; they were greeted by the king. He had had a simple message to deliver to the universe.
"Punk, nice match. Truth, Miz...You're fired."
And with that the anarchists were banished from the kingdom. All the years of their hard work were to be undone by a selfish act that was without purpose. Their blind hate towards Triple H led them to declare a war they couldn't win.
Their actions were swift, and their judgement was swift. They do not hold the weight the rebellion does and were dealt with as such.
With their final act, before being banished outside the kingdom gates, the anarchists attacked the king in a last-ditch effort to send a message.
They would not be forgotten. They would be vindicated. They would return.
And so here we are, ready to turn the page to the next chapter in this ongoing saga. Perhaps Punk should take note of what has just transpired. If he does not tread carefully in these rough waters he could find himself on the outside just after being let in.
What is the purpose of Punk's revolution? Has it already ended? Perhaps he is no revolutionary leader, but an anarchist himself.
Triple H claims he has nothing to do with the conspiracy yet he banishes two potential allies who were willing to sacrifice everything to uncover the truth that he and Punk both search for.
R-Truth and Miz now sit seething outside the gates of the kingdom. Their hatred for the rebellion, the kingdom's champion, the king and everything that the WWE stands for is growing exponentially with each passing moment.
They no longer are held down by the king, his rules, the conspiracy, and the torment they suffered through.
They are no longer anarchists, but a separate entity that will likely grow in numbers until the day they plan to unhinge the gates to the kingdom and cause chaos amongst it's people.
Or perhaps they become apart of what they always searched for blindly. The Conspiracy. As newly-crowned enemies of the state what other choice do they have?
...And what better way to take revenge.
Those wars are unjust which are undertaken without provocation. For only a war waged for revenge or defense can be just.
